Germany applies for hosting the Cheerleading World Championships 2015

The German American Football Federation with the German Cheerleading Association have submitted an application for the 8th IFC Cheerleading World Championships 2015.

The concept for the CWC is based on the dates Nov 19 till Nov 23, 2015 or Nov 26 till Nov 30, 2015 in the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin.

“ After the positive feedback for the 6th CWC in Bremen we have had fruitful discussions with the decision making bodies in Berlin quit early and got very positive feedbacks” according to AFVD president Robert Huber, Vice president of the IFC is addition, as well as head of the competition committee of the IFC.
“The local government of Germany’s capital Berlin committed fully support already, as well as the management of the Max-Schmeling Halle. With the close link between Max Schmeling-Halle and Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportsarena, the home of the German Bowls 2012 and 2013, we do have an optimal infrastructure”

The official deadline for applications to the 8th CWC of the International Federation of Cheerleading (IFC) will end at June 30, 2013. The decision for the CWC 2015 by the executive committee of the IFC will be in due course of that date, so that the next organizer of the CWC can be announced at the 7th CWC in Bangkok/Thailand already.

“With the submission of our application, including an approved financial concept, we want to show our support to our president Setsuo Nakamura also. The IFC as the first and oldest world-wide governing body of the Cheerleading Sport will have a successful future”, continues AFVD president Robert Huber in the light of Germany’s application. “ We assess our chances quit good, to be the next organizer, otherwise we would not have submitted the application.”
