Deutschland zwei Mal im Finale
Die deutschen Flag-Footballer sind bei der Jugend-Europameisterschaft in Bolonga überaus erfolgreich. Sowohl die Unter 15 als auch die Unter 13 Mannschaft gewannen alle ihre Gruppenspiele und zogen als ungeschlagene Gruppensieger in die morgigen Finalspiel ein.
In der Unter 15-Kategorie wird der AFVD durch die Hamburg Flag Devils, in der Unter 13-Kategorie durch die Düsseldorf Panter vertreten.
Zum letzten und bisher einzigen Mal gewannen die Hamburg Flag Devils im Jahre 2000 den Europameistertitel für Deutschland.
