IFC at the WDSF Presidium Meeting
On the 18th of January 2014 the International Federation of Cheerleading (IFC) delegation, represented by IFC President Mr Nakamura and IFC Vice-President Mr Huber, was present at the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) Presidium meeting in Barcelona, Spain.
IFC was welcomed as WDSF associate member and was given the opportunity to take the floor. The president opened quoted as saying, We are very proud to be a part of the WDSF family and we look forward to working with you all and contribute towards the continued success of WDSF.
The IFC delegation proceeded to update the WDSF Presidium on the current status of international affairs regarding cheerleading and IFC activities. Some mentioned points were IFCs participation at the first World DanceSport Games in Kaohsiung and the 7th Cheerleading World Championships 2013, Thailand, (CWC) which was the first CWC under the auspices of WDSF. To further the IFC-WDSF partnership, IFC will use WDSF branding for future events.
Overall the updates and clarification by the IFC delegation was well received by the attendees.
